Banner ads that fit your layout and sell in real time
Standard IAB banner sizes, each sold impression by impression in an OpenRTB auction, so you can see what every placement earns.
How banner & display ads work
A banner is an image or HTML5 creative shown in a fixed-size slot on your page, such as 300×250 in the sidebar or 728×90 above the content. It is the most familiar ad format on the web, and almost every advertiser buys it.
With MS Ads Network, each banner slot is an ad unit in your publisher dashboard. When a visitor loads the page, the slot is offered to connected demand partners through an OpenRTB auction, and the highest valid bid serves.

Where it works best
Blogs and news sites
A 300×250 inside the article and a 728×90 or 320×50 near the top cover most pages without hurting reading.
Tools and utility sites
A sticky sidebar unit stays visible while users work, which usually improves viewability.
Forums and communities
In-list banners between threads monetize long pages without interrupting conversations.
Placement tips
- Place at least one unit above the fold, but never push your main content below it.
- Prefer 300×250 and 320×50 on mobile, the sizes with the widest demand.
- Do not stack several units next to each other; spacing protects viewability and user trust.

FAQ
Which banner size earns the most?
It depends on your traffic and placement. 300×250 and 728×90 usually attract the most bidders because nearly every campaign supports them, but a well-placed 300×600 can also perform well. Test with your own data in the dashboard.
Can I run banners alongside Google AdSense?
Usually yes, as long as ads do not overlap or mislead users. Check our Terms and the other network's policies before combining them.
How is a banner impression counted?
An impression is counted when the creative is served to the slot. Invalid traffic checks run before earnings are credited to your balance.
Do banners slow down my site?
The tag loads asynchronously, so your page content renders first. Keep the number of units reasonable for the best page speed.
