How AI Intent ads work
When a user asks an AI assistant a question with commercial intent, for example "best laptop for students", the assistant can show a relevant sponsored suggestion next to its organic answer.
AI Intent ads are always labelled as sponsored and kept separate from the assistant's own answer. Publishers who run chatbots or AI tools connect them through their MS Ads Network dashboard (AI chatbots section).
